Element Events by Ramona is a Queensland-based event planning and styling business specialising in weddings, corporate events and bespoke celebrations. Founded by Ramona Burki, the business is built on over two decades of industry experience and a reputation for creative vision, organisation and calm, professional delivery.
We believe exceptional events are created through a balance of thoughtful design and detailed planning. Founder & Creative Director
Ramona is the Founder and Creative Director of Element Events by Ramona. With more than 20 years in the events industry and over 10 years operating her own business, she brings extensive knowledge, creativity and leadership to every event.
Ramona oversees all creative direction, event planning and overall delivery, working closely with clients from concept through to execution. Her experience spans weddings, corporate events, community functions and large-scale productions, with a focus on refined styling, clear logistics and seamless coordination.
Known for her approachable nature and steady presence under pressure, Ramona prides herself on building trusted relationships with clients and suppliers alike.
Marie Burki
Operations & Planning Manager
Marie Burki is the Operations & Planning Manager at Element Events by Ramona. With extensive experience in the events industry, Marie plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring systems, schedules and planning processes run smoothly.
Office-based by design, Marie supports event planning, administration and internal operations, working closely with Ramona on larger and more complex events. She is instrumental in coordinating timelines, managing documentation and assisting with logistics planning behind the scenes.
Marie also supports selected major events and expos, assisting with operational delivery when required. Her strong organisational skills, attention to detail and industry knowledge make her an essential part of the Element Events team.
